3 Tips to Make Your Life Easier

How come no one ever told me?

You’ve probably been ignoring this feature.
I know I did not know these 3 tips to make your life easier.

FOIL WRAP BOXES

ALuminum FOil

HERE is TIP #1
Most aluminum foil boxes have press-in tabs
that secure the roll in place, so you don’t
have worry about it flying out every time
you rip off a sheet.

You’ve been dispensing Tic Tacs the hard way.

A TIC Tac

TIP # 2
You know how when you violently
shake a container of Tic Tacs
into your palm it seems as though
you always end up with zero or seven?
Avoid that altogether by letting a
mint gently glide into the tiny lid crevice.

Ketchup Cups at Fast Food Restaurants

a Ketchup cup

Tip #3
Instead of grabbing multiple cups of ketchup,
simply pull apart at the edges for twice the space.

Now for the BONUS Tip #4…

Soft-drink lids can double as coasters.

you have an obligation to

share it with others!’

Tipping Servers $200, Wouldn’t that feel great to do?

Tipping Servers $200

The Joy of seeing someone’s
face when you reward them, is immeasurable.

Many times we are stuck in a rut
and can’t see clear to
give freely.

Sometimes Giving doesn’t have to come
in the form of Money, but time.
You can give the give of listening, doing
such as reading to children, adults who
need help in that basic form of communication.

You can also give back by writing FOR people.
By that I mean, there are lots of people have arthritis, shut ins..etc.

Or how about picking someone up and drive them
somewhere. Not everyone has a car, or is able to drive.
You were going to go do errands anyway, right?!

Check out how I am able to give back monetarily
to organizations,  and to people I know or live near in my community.
As well as giving back in time and help.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization gives adult volunteers (“bigs”) the chance to build lasting one-on-one relationships with children in need of caring adults in their lives [source: Big Brothers Big Sisters].

Many children’s hospitals rely on volunteers for activities such as tutoring patients, reading stories, monitoring playrooms and assisting families with whatever they may need during a child’s stay [source: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia].

Most volunteer opportunities involving children will require a background check and a commitment to volunteer for a certain number of hours per week over a specified duration, such as three, six or 12 months.

In some cases, volunteering with children can be financially beneficial as well as personally fulfilling: Some foster grandparent volunteers qualify to receive a tax-free hourly stipend, and a growing number of public school systems offer seniors a rebate on property taxes in exchange for their time volunteering in the classroom [sources: Senior Corps, Garcia].

Back to the people giving a tipping servers $200,
any help and recognition is a good thing, and $200
would certainly help anyone!
I loved this.

Please comment and tell me what you think about
giving time and money.
Thanks, Karen

World’s Marijuana Friendly Countries, Cheech & Chong

Top Ten Pot Weed Movies. Cheech & Chong minute 5:05

Uruguay is set to make the country
the first in the world to create a
state-run marijuana industry — fixing
the price at a point low enough to
squeeze the black market and allowing
the government to control cultivation
and distribution. This Landmark legislation
bill has the backing of President José Mujica,
who has dismissed charges that legalizing
marijuana could lead people to try harder drugs.

“It’s actually the opposite,” he told CNN.
“People seek crack and other more dangerous
poisons when they have no access to marijuana.”
Whether the government becomes a major dealer
may depend on the price and quality of the weed,
which people would be allowed to grow for themselves.

Uruguay is the first country to announce plans to
nationalize the pot business, but there are plenty
of other places where you can smoke freely.
Marijuana is not classified as a drug in North Korea,
soldiers and manual laborers smoke it as a
popular way to wind down after a long day.
Possessing small amounts for personal use
has been decriminalized in many European
and South American countries, and the
policies have been shown to have little
impact on drug use. After Portugal eliminated
criminal penalties for drug users in 2001,
shifting resources from law enforcement to
drug prevention and rehabilitation programs,
a number of metrics (see infographic for details)
pointed to the experiment’s success.
On a Humorous note, minute 5:04 is where
Cheech and Chong were THE breakout
movie duo to highlight Pot.

Good Samaritan Pays Stranger’s Baggage Fee at Airport, Pay it Forward

I wanted to rewrite this article but
you know, it was so good all by itself
and I know that even though it is kind of
long.. you WILL read it all.

Let me know how you helped someone else,
PAY IT FORWARD
Being a Giving person has no boundaries
and always gives back in untold ways.

Payitforward

  Having your credit card declined
can be awkward and humiliating.

But it’s an even worse experience
if you’re at the airport,
rushing to make your flight,
and when it comes time to
dole out the mandatory fee
to check a bag, the airline employee
lets you know
that your card won’t go through.
Confused, you step out of line
to check your balance.
You just know your
card isn’t maxed out
and should be able to
cover the expense.

  Redditor brbmycatexploded recently
experienced this exact situation
at Tampa International Airport.

  “Having my card declined was
extremely embarrassing, even
though I didn’t know a
single soul in that airport,”
the Reddit user, who asked to
be identified by just his
first name, Andy.

His story has a happy ending, though.
When he returned to the counter,
a Good Samaritan had generously
paid his baggage fee and left a note:

“Hey, I heard them say your card was declined.
I know how it feels. Your bag fee’s on me.
Just pay it forward the next time you get a chance.
Have a safe flight. :)”

On Wednesday, Andy posted a
photo of the note on Reddit
and wrote,
“If you’re reading this,
thanks for making my day.”

The kind deed didn’t just
have a financial impact.
“Seriously, reading their note
gave me goosebumps and gave me
faith that there are still
good people out there,”
Andy shared with Shine.

But he’s not going to plan out
how he’ll pay it forward.
“I think it will be a
random decision, a
spur-of-the-moment type thing,”
he explained. “I really don’t
think that that person walked
into that airport, saying,
‘I’m going to pay someone’s
baggage fee today.’
So neither will I.”

The random-act-of-kindness post
has inspired other Redditors to
share how they’ve spontaneously
helped strangers or vice versa.

Poundt0wn described that while
on vacation with his family,
a man approached poundt0wn’s
father with a flower and asked
him if he would buy it so that
he could use the money to
purchase food for his family.
Poundt0wn’s dad pulled out $100
and gave it to the man.
“Fifteen minutes later,”
wrote poundt0wn,
“we see the same guy walking
on the sidewalk again.
This time, he had at least 10 bags
of groceries hanging from his arms,
one of which contained diapers.”

Redditor jacenborne explained
that while at a Chick-fil-A drive-through,
a woman in front of him paid for his meal.
There was no one behind him,
so he couldn’t return the favor.
“But it was such a happy moment
of human benevolence that is
rarely seen in society,”
commented jacenborne.
pay it forward
During a trip to an auto parts store,
Synssins noticed a woman
with two kids leaving the
store without a battery she
needed for her car, since
she couldn’t afford it.
The Redditor kindly
bought the battery and installed it
for her. “I asked her to pop her hood,
and she at first looked at me like,
‘What?’ and then saw what I had with me.
She asked me why, and I just said,
‘Because someone did something nice for me once.’
I installed her battery while she was crying and thanking me.”

Another Reddit user commented that
while in a convenience store at 3 a.m.,
a man was purchasing diapers, milk,
formula, and toilet paper,
but his card was declined.
As he was calculating which
necessities he really needed,
ThatSpuds came to his rescue.
“So I walk up to the counter
and give the guy $20,” ThatSpuds wrote.
“I don’t say a word,
and I don’t expect anything in return,
not even a thank you.
But the guy turns around.
Gets on his knees and
wraps his arms around me
and tells me that
I have just made a profound difference.”

PAY IT FORWARD Rewards ALL!

ThatSpuds added,
“So pay it forward with all of your might,
because someone out there is depending on you.”

Do you have an inspiring pay-it-forward story?

The Project AWOL reality show is getting closer and closer.

In fact, we are discussing the launch tonight at 9p on our team webinar

You can be one of the first guests to watch episode 1 of season 1
Image

This may sound a little crazy, but I believe this show is a bigger deal than a summer blockbuster.

Let me explain:

People all over the nation (and the world) follow the buzz of a summer blockbuster

sometimes weeks in advance. I know my friends did before

Guiermo del Toro’s recent flick
Iron Man 3,
Ridley Scott’s Prometheus
and others.

They start researching insider info before the movie’s release date.

They get focused. They anticipate a great time.

I get pumped up for a great blockbuster,

but I also realize ..life goes on.

Same as it did before.

Project AWOL show is different.

You are going to witness proven life-changing information.

You are going to be given solutions that immediately

improve the quality of your life

I believe this first episode is a bigger deal
than even the biggest summer blockbuster.
It is about us, real people who make changes.

I’m reposting “Create A Life With Project A.W.O.L.” to make sure you’re 100% prepared:

HAPPY FRIDAY folks! Blurred Lines Robin Thicke Joins with Jimmy Fallon for Remake- FAMILY FRIENDLY

Blurred Lines  Robin Thicke joins with Jimmy Fallon and his house band Roots
to make a Family Friendly version of the hit song.

If you’re wondering how this ensemble handles the tune’s
infamously un-kid-friendly line — you know
what I’m talking about; “you’re the hottest (bleep) in the place” —I won’t spoil the surprise.
I’ll just assure you it’s funny and comedy gold, so make sure to watch for it.

Fallon is using kid music toys to make a niche for himself.. another successful niche!

Hope you enjoyed this version, even kids will love it!

Have a Successful and Great weekend!

First Video, Vlogging for business!

Here we go. My mentor, Ben urged me to get a video up and running.
Vlogging for Business

I do know intellectually and from social proof,
videos and images really do show people that you
are real and not a bot.
People relate to other people.
Some say, ‘gee if she can do it, LOL, so can I”
or, ‘hmmm, I like what she has to say and I believe her’
or ‘let me watch and see how she improves, maybe I will join her’.

It is an interesting thing, we humans.
Lots of us have tried numerous things to get our point across.
With technology and super small phones with great cameras/videos
in them, we can get footage from anywhere and anytime.
Today, I did one while I was going through an automatic car wash!
Best-Car-Wash
Kind of goofy, so I didn’t upload it here.
LOL, I felt like I was in an ‘I LOVE LUCY’ episode…Which I can’t
locate the clip right now.
Anyway, I got several short videos and one of the key elements to a good video is
one that engages others, you have a good message,
speak from the heart, and keep it relatively short.
2 out of 3 is not bad for a beginner VLOGGER.
This one will be the first of many videos to share life, business and fun.
Vlogging for business

Let me know what you think. I promise I will keep working on my video technique and message!

PS. IF you have any good ideas/tips on how to make fun and engaging short videos, please comment

What Would You Do to Have a Great Lifestyle?

This is the premier trailer
of our 4 Seasons for #Project AWOL
AWOL, or Another Way of Living is a
Reality Show filmed entirely in
Phuket, Thailand May 2013.
It was 4 weeks of 8 people
totaling 32 people from
different ages and walks of life.

We met online but were
gathered together in 2 fabulous
Million $ mansions
complete with personal Chefs,
house keepers,
personal drivers and
our own luxury bedrooms
with views of the
Andaman Sea.
I have seen many mansions
in my town of Palm Springs, CA
and
these mansions were luxurious.
Each mansion had its own
Infinity swimming pool

with views of the Sea.
My experience of this
week transformed me from
just thinking about
making changes to my business
to changing my daily habits,
ideas about my life
and what I want to
contribute to my community
and
to society at large.
You see, I figured out
that I want to help people
find the same financial
nd spiritual satisfaction
of helping yourself,
your family and the people
who you meet who want
to have a better lifestyle
for their families and towns.
Groupat Mural
Here is us in Season 1
after we painted
the classrooms
for an orphanage.
You see, before this I
was more of a give money
to good causes, but hadn’t
spent much TIME on giving back
with my time and hands on.
Now I know how much satisfaction
there is for TIME donated, besides
money. Time and energy is so
fulfilling to the people you want
to aid, and to yourself.
